1) What is Servant Leadership?
Servant Leadership is a philosophy that fosters a caring, empowered, ethical and trusting organizational culture. It is a practical model that encourages leaders to be of service to others, while also being focused on achieving results. Servant Leadership emphasizes values and integrity, promotes higher morale and retention, increases workplace passion and motivation, and enhances team cohesion and effectiveness.

2) How does Servant Leadership differ from other leadership models?
Many leaders still practice a top down, hierarchical style in which they use their power to tell subordinates what to do and how to do it. Many contemporary leadership models help leaders access more flexible and relevant styles for the challenges and expectations of the modern world. Servant Leadership goes well beyond these, providing a timeless and holistic model of leadership. The Servant Leadership model values leader and follower alike, encourages collaborations, trust, foresight, listening, empathy, and the ethical use of power. It provides a basis for a way of being that opens new possibilities for organization wide leadership and results.
